EP. 1 The cold room

After finalising her divorce, forty-three-year-old Margaret rents the perfect ground-floor apartment in a converted Victorian. It’s cheap, quiet, and just isolated enough to feel like a fresh start. The landlord calls the extra storage space the "cold room." He doesn't mention the salt line across the threshold, the 3:12 AM wake-up calls, or the door that appears in the middle of the concrete floor. A door that isn't attached to anything. A door that seems to be waiting for permission to be opened. What Margaret discovers about her apartment's history as a former funeral home with a deadly secret, that might explain the cold. But it won't stop what's asking to be let in. A story about fresh starts, forgotten histories, and the things that wait patiently in corners.

EP. 2 The shadow on the street

This is Yuki’s story. Yuki, an English teacher whose ordinary commute becomes a walk through the impossible. After a day of unshakable dread, she finds herself pursued through empty Tokyo streets by a shadow with no source. A silhouette in a trench coat and wide-brimmed hat that appears at every corner yet vanishes when she turns around. The next morning's news reveals the chilling truth: a man with a knife and tape had been waiting along her route, watching her predictable pattern, ready to strike. He was arrested two hours later, raving about a man in a hat who cast no shadow of his own. Was it a guardian spirit? A neighborhood Kami? Or the universe bending its own rules for someone who needed protection? Shadow on the Street explores the thin line between predator and protector, and the shadows that sometimes fall toward the light.
